The Dow Event Center

TheDow Event Center stage has been performed on by many of today's top artist names like Kid Rock, Bob Seger, Carrie Underwood, Reba Mcentire, Trace Adkins, Three Days Grace, Chris Daughtry, John Mellencamp, Korn, Disturbed and Shinedown TheDow Event Center contributes much to the recent history of The City of Saginaw. The Saginaw Civic Center was built by The City in 1972. The Civic Center was comprised of three main parts: Wendler Arena, Heritage Theater, and Unity Hall. Since 1972, The Center has been through some major transformations all while serving The Tri-Cities as a first-class event venue, offering residents hundreds of entertainment, sport, cultural, and educational opportunities.The Dow Chemical Company of Midland was awarded naming rights to the facility in September 2004. The agreement was mutually beneficial; Dow was able to support a worthy community endeavor and The Event Center was given an internationally recognized name to help draw performers, ensuring The Dow Event Center as a vital part of the Saginaw community for years to come.
