“Texas-sized hospitality and portions”
Our family has been serving great food and Texas-sized hospitality for more than half a century. Today DeWese’s Tip Top is one of the oldest family owned restaurants in the state and we’re still following in the tradition of cookin’ up homestyle meals, nothing fancy—just good food for our loyal family of customers. Some of our specialties are chicken fried steak, onion rings, fried shrimp, and homemade pies. We’ve set the table for mayors and mechanics and we’re proud to say everyone feels at home at the Tip Top. Very little has changed since my grandparents Winnie and Pappy DeWese started the restaurant in 1938. The bass caught by my Dad and Brother, the mounted deer heads, knotty pine walls, and neon are all part of the nostalgia that add to our history and character. My family and employees invite you to have a good meal with friends you have yet to meet. Featured on Diners, Drive-ins and Dives!
