“Wine without the attitude”
Look, we know what it's like. You're a little older now and your palette has evolved from throwing back shots until you vomit, to sipping on good wine. Bars & Clubs are no longer an option because the wine sucks and you don't want to be "that old guy" or "gal". Wine bars aren't an option because "party" is still part of your vocabulary and you don't want to necessarily put on a tweed jacket and brush up on your wine vocabulary before going out. We wanted a place where we could relax, talk it up with some friends, and maybe meet some new people…all with a good drink in hand. We looked high and low and couldn't find this social sanctuary, so we built it. In doing so, we had to ask ourselves, what do we know about wine? The response was simple, two things, 1) we like good quality wine and 2) we like to drink it, as opposed to sniffing, swirling, staring and describing it with funny words.
