Panida Theatre

Welcome to the historic Panida Theater located in beautiful Sandpoint, Idaho. Here you can learn about our history, see our current schedule of upcoming performances, and learn how you can help us continue the growth and improvements this unique, community owned theatre.  The Panida Theater of Sandpoint is a community-owned historic theater which reflects the spirit and resourcefulness of its owners. Built in 1927 with a Spanish mission style, the Panida was a popular vaudeville and movie house for decades. Today it is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and has been renovated extensively, becoming the cornerstone for cultural events, conerts, plays and independent and art films in the Sandpoint area. In addition to excellent acoustics, its 540-seat auditorium provides a comfortable audience size for many productions. The Panida's Little Theater next door provides a smaller venue for varied events and films that compliment activities in the larger venue.
