“affordable, well located, and well operated facility”
The Santa Fe International Hostel (and Budget Bed & Breakfast) is a 501(c)(3) educational Not-For-Profit corporation. We have been in operation for nearly 30 years and our goal is to create an affordable, well located, and well operated facility and to encourage personal development through independent travel and cross-cultural exchange. We operate as a traditional hostel. We do not have televisions. Rather, our common rooms host good conversations. We don’t provide maid service; guests make their own beds & breakfast and all guests do a small cleaning duty each day to help with upkeep. This custom might be unfamiliar to some but the hostel and its volunteer staff invite and encourage all guests to enter into the spirit of intended community.

BEDBUGS!!
My boyfriend and I stayed here for one night. When we woke up in the morning, he had bedbug bites all over his butt. Based not he owner's response when we told him about the bedbugs, this was not the first complaint he had heard. When we asked for a refund to cover the cost of ridding our clothing of bedbugs, he refused and said, "Sh*t happens."
Very rude workers and you have to do chores aka clean because they're a cash only "non-profit", so they don't hire anyone to clean. It's kind of run down. There were a couple of live and dead bugs in the room.
Decent bed for the price and very friendly and knowledgable staff! Also the kitchen is stocked by whole foods donations so that's great
