“Experience a working lumber mill”

The Pacific Lumber Company Logging Museum in Scotia offers visitors a chance to see a redwood lumber mill. There are displays of the history of the timber industry. The museum shares the building with the Winema Theater, which is used for town meetings, graduation ceremonies and school plays. Tours available weekdays from 8:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m., except the weeks of July 4 and Christmas. Historic logging museum in Scotia and Demonstration Forest 4.5 miles south of Scotia.
