Any visit to Seattle without a stop at Pike Place Market is a waste. Sure, they've got the oldest Starbucks in the world (and the only one to use their original logo - she's got boobs!), but that's not really what you're at Pike Place to see.
First, head to Pike Place Fish to grab some of the freshest salmon you've ever tasted. Feel like walking around? Grab some smoked salmon, it's like beef jerky and makes a great snack for later adventures.
If you like tea, head to MarketSpice right next to Pike Place Fish. Their signature cinnamon-orange tea is absolutely fantastic, but the orange-cream is right up there.
After that, there's loads of farm stands where you can grab some fresh fruits and veggies, a stand that sells organic honey, and if you're looking for a really great, unique keepsake, head downstairs and visit the awesome magic shop.
We got here around 730 AM on a Saturday morning. it was cool to see the vendors setting up. The vendors were very friendly and the fruit... especially the Ranier cherries. .. we're to die for... so fresh!
