“Game changing deli cuts”
The original Rain Shadow Meats opened as a butcher shop in Capitol Hill a few years ago, but it wasn’t until they expanded to a new location in Pioneer Square that they fully figured out the formula. That is: Good meat is important; offering it up sliced fresh onto some of the cities best sandwiches is straight-up game changing. The porchetta sandwich, for instance, is served up on perfectly crusty French bread, composed of the kind of just-sliced pork belly and loin that only a butcher could procure. By the time you wash it all down with house celery soda, fresh from the tap, you’ll begin to wonder why all butcher shops don’t offer something similar.
