Star Motel

The Star Motel was built in the 1950’s, but it wouldn’t be until 30 years later that the Des Rosiers family would buy the motel and start a business that is still going strong. They came to Sedona for a vacation in 1980 and were so enthralled with the area that they decided to buy the motel. For the next 20 years the Des Rosiers' would run the motel with the simple goal of providing a comfortable place to stay where their guests would feel welcome, calm, and relaxed – an atmosphere that perfectly compliments Sedona’s natural surroundings.
