Whether you take the chair lift or one of the many trails, this is a beautiful spot you have to see for yourself. There aren't any railings on the actual bridge so be careful with little ones.
This park is amazing. It is definitely worth visiting each year. There are great trails and plenty of rustic campsites. HIGHLY recommended.
Beautiful!!! Well worth enduring the humidity to hike as much as you can throughout the park. Well maintained trails and incredible scenery!
We stayed in B34 next to the stream. It "looked" like it would be a quiet spot, but it was actually quite noisy, the only reason why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. The road behind our spot was busy, but only at certain times. We never used the bathhouse, so I can't give a review on that. Overall we really enjoyed staying there. We were able to walk to the trailhead of the Natural Bridge. One suggestion, go up the Original trail and down Balanced Rock. Going UP Balanced Rock will be very challenging. There are so many hiking trails in that area. You could easily spend days there. I will also say that the spots not on the stream are closer together like a parking lot, but where we were was spacious.

Staff was friendly, park was clean and well maintained. Only complaint was hookups were on the wrong side of the site.

We had site #29. Our extension cord suffers from a lack of length, which is why it drives such a big van…and given the oddity of the hookups positioning mentioned elsewhere, we had to — and were allowed to — park in the grass to accommodate. The gentleman on staff was about as friendly as a walk through the park with the sun on your back. You can hear rigs barreling up and down the gorge just about dawn to dusk, and though we had no neighbor to one side and a beautiful wooden bridge on the other, you can hear other campers fairly well as this place is more like an RV park than the spacious sites many a state park will provide. That all said, the creek made for literally hours of fun as our kids played around on the rocky beach, treating the ample flat rocks as though they were the last days of high school.
That’s to say, they were skipping them.

So this is another one of our spots for a quick weekend getaway. Typically a quiet campground with not a lot going on. A short drive to the state lodge and a few of the trails to the Natural Bridge. Really fun moderate hiking in the area. Don’t forget Court House Rock and Nada Tunnel both are great places to see while in the area. For the most part all camp sites are nice and level. The sites on the back side are better in my opinion however, there are a few you need to back way up to. When it rains, the campground is prone to flooding. There are quite a few large rv site and pull through sites. Phone service is sparse. But hey, back in, throw out the chairs and enjoy the creek.

While the campground is nothing to write home about the area in which it resides is truly amazing. We only had three days here and had work to do for the first two of them, but on the third day we rode The Sky Lift up to the Natural Bridge and hiked around and down to see the bridge.
We visited this campground from 04/08/19 until 04/11/19.

Average older campground. Water and Electric only, Dump station on the way out on the wrong side of the road. Pick you site carefully as there are a lot of small ones. The pull through are bigger. We chose a site for 30' (motorhome is 27') but it backed up to the stream running through the campground. Verizon was 1-2 bars 4G without using the booster but would switch to 1x if in your pocket inside the camper.
