“An island tradition for over 35 years”
After opening its doors in February 1975, The Crab Trap has remained a favorite island tradition for more than 35 years. This famous island landmark is still owned and operated by the original family. The Crab Trap offers a very nautical, casual and rustic atmosphere. It is known for its tables with “the hole” in the middle used for discarding your fresh oyster shells and shrimp tails. Diners continue to return time after time for our delicious and generous portions of fresh seafood served either fried, blackened, broiled or grilled. A full service bar specializing in margaritas and our famous “Blue Crab” cocktail is also available to complete your dining experience.
