Confirmed by 2 users | Last reported on October 01, 2022Worst KOA experience ever. The woman at the desk wouldn’t let my child use the restroom until we checked in because we weren’t “guests” yet. Then after we told her we were traveling with dogs she informs me that they do not allow dogs at the tent sites?! We ended up leaving and staying elsewhere but the absolute rudeness after traveling for 10 hours was unbelievable.
Stayed one night....arrived late and they left the site information by the door. Sites are ample size but not extremely large and they are a 90 degree angle from the road so careful pulling in & out with a large rig.

I am not usually a fan of KOA campgrounds but this is a keeper! Lots of space, shaded and clean restrooms/showers!

This was a nice place to stay in a pinch. 40.00 is a bit much I think but then I am new at this.

Easy in and out off of I-44. Road noise was no problem. Once in a while I would hear a train horn but it was not an issue.
We stayed here for two days and it was a nice peaceful rest.
Cell coverage (AT&T and Verizon) is strong for only 2 bars each. (Fast up and down) The park has wifi but we did not use it.
All RV sites are pull-throughs, w/e or FHU RV sites. They have a dump station. They also offer cabins and have tent sites.
The host/owners are extremely kind and friendly.
Park does show it age here and there.
I would stay here again anytime I pass through this area.

We arrived late and had easy self-check in. Campground phone goes to corporate, not onsite staff. Met lady manager, who was very nice. Unfortunately she had very hateful political bumper stickers on her white pick-up truck. On day 6 of our 7 day stay we received a call notifying us that there was nitrates in the water and we should not drink. After SIX days! Thankfully we have a double filter system in our coach, but they waited SIX days and did not offer potable water. On day seven we were chased by a large, off-leash dog while walking our two leashed dogs to the dog park.
Really disappointed because the location is perfect when traveling Rt. 66, or the 44.

It appeared that only one person was working, which is fine. Popcorn and cookies available at checkin. Pool was clean and refreshing. Zero shade. Couple umbrellas. Campground had a lot of people staying just one night. Campsites were rather close together. Train tracks, couple blocks away, seemed as if every night a train went through in the middle of the night blowing its horn.

Owners were friendly. Clean, but small bathrooms, bathroom. Probably a fun place to stay when in season.
