Prospect Place

Prospect Place, also known as Trinway Mansion and Prospect Place Mansion, is a 29-room mansion built by abolitionist George Willison Adams (G. W. Adams) in Trinway, Ohio, just north of Dresden in 1856.  It's known as one of the most haunted locations in Ohio.  Because of it's current state of decay the house has allegedly been used as a meeting place for a Satanic cult, who use the building and its energies to secretly perform rituals.   The building was is also a stop on the underground railroad, and was witness to countless deaths.  One of the ghosts regularly spotted at Prospect Place is the spirit of a young woman who died when in a fevered stupor, she fell over the edge of an outdoor railing to her death.  The barn, which is known as the most haunted area on the property, is haunted by the sprits of 7 men who where hanged while trying to escape to freedom.  Prospect Place has been featured on Ghost Hunters and Ghost Adventures.
