“Enchanted tea and treats!”
The seed for SiTea was planted 2 doors from the world famous Apollo Theatre in Harlem, NY in 1976. As the counter help at Pyramid, her parent's herbal shop & juice bar, Sunyatta trained alongside master herbalists learning the medicinal value of teas & spices. Since being able to peek over the shop counter, she has served NYC residents alongside entertainment luminaries. Sunyatta accompanied her family on tea and spice buying trips, all the while dreaming of a shop featuring the fabrics & decor of those exotic destinations.
