The Wildflower Cafe and Crooked Rooster Pub is the exclusive place to find award-winning Rooster Fish beer. Rooster Fish Brewing, a small microbrewery from Watkins Glen, NY, won first place at the Sample New York Beer Festival, as voted on by the festival’s attendees. The festival was held at the New York State Wine and Culinary Center on October 3, and featured several breweries from across New York. The festival was attended by hundreds of beer-loving patrons, who were given a ‘voting chip’ upon entry. Festival goers were instructed to vote for their favorite brewery by dropping a chip in that brewery’s cup. At the end of the day, Rooster Fish Brewing had an majority of the chips, beating second place brewery Flying Bison of Buffalo, NY, to take first prize.
