Top Rail Writers Night Restaurant

In life, everyone, at one time or another, has a “Top Rail” they struggle to get over. Musicians are no exception. There aren’t many places that a musician can go to showcase their talents without being in a bar or alcohol setting. Top Rail is here to change that. It is a recovery concept that we want to be able to allow any individual, young and old, the opportunity to come and sing or play their written music to their families, friends and the community.  Our goal is to reach the industry so music scouts will come and hopefully with God’s grace, someone will be able to begin their dream of music. While they are allowed to play their music, it is not a head banging, loud band atmosphere. Rather, a low-key, family environment where others can enjoy a nice Cajun/Creole meal. We want to combine our worlds of music and cooking from our home in Louisiana here in North Carolina. It will allow the kids to be off the streets, the ability to play their music and us, as a community, to support them. Top Rail has a very special meaning to both David and myself. It was born in one of the darkest moments of our life. When one of us held out our hand to help the other get over their “Top Rail”. Please join us by supporting and helping others as well.
