No 50 amp power. Rate charged was $5 more than indicated by the campground web site. One working shower (also one non-working) in the men's and women's restroom. Women's shower had no light. Laundry room had 2 washers and 3 dryers. Two of the dryers were out of order. The one working dryer worked so poorly we ended up drying our clothes at the Pilot station next door.

Strange layout in this park. The entrance is confusing with no signs to direct you to the office. The pull thru sites are actually two sites front to back. We took up two sites with our motorhome and attached toad. The park backs up to a truck station so there is noise from there and from the highway. The WII FII did not work. Directv did not work due to trees. Verizon coverage was reasonable. Decent view of Mt Shasta if it's a clear day. It's ok for overnight but not as a destination park.

This is a cute little park, but somewhat unfortunately located right off the 5, and amidst an assortment of gas stations and fast food joints. So, if it's camping and rest you're looking for, this isn't really the destination campground or park you want to choose. If however you're simply passing through and need an overnighter (or two), then Friendly's a great choice. Easy in and out, and great cell signal coverage.
Under new management, and it shows. Very friendly and attentive staff, upgraded facilities, and a nice small dog area. The sites around the perimeter are the nicest, with plenty of trees, etc. for shade, and the sites on the east side have a superb view of the stunning Mt. Shasta.

Definitely friendly staff. Gravel interior roads & site, ours was a bit tight between trees, FHUs (30A) and the pull through was long enough to not disconnect the toad. Men’s bathroom was a bit “rustic” but clean (shower curtain for the toilet door) and even though it had a combination lock, the bolt was exposed so combo was not needed. Yes, they do have veggie gardens scattered around the park. A little pricey for an average park. The Pilot station noise was negligible.

Friendly greeting. Solid WiFi.
Great view of Shasta but surrounded by urban setting with Pilot truck parking next door. Plus is easy access from I-5.

We pulled in and were greeted by the nicest kindest lady. We asked to extend our stay, and she was so gracious, moving things around. She showed us to our spot. Ensured we were comfortable. Showers - awesome; Laundry - nice; Clean. Just not many machines. But that was okay, we got our load done and moved on! The Dos Amigos restaurant next door, so fun, entertaining and great food.

Super friendly people, got to change sites so we had grass for our dog. Site 7 had perfect view of Mt. Shasta. Right off I-5 so easy. Walked across street to the Dos Amigos restaurant. This Texan loved the food! Only drawback is the Pilot behind the park, can’t see it but there is a little noise.

Rate depicts large, pull-thru, FHU (30 amp) site. We were given the chance to move to one of the big sites, and didn't need to unhook the toad. Very quiet, businesses nearby didn't bother us. Very clean bathrooms and showers. Laundry had 2@W/D for $2.00/load. The campground wi-fi was exceptional, best I've ever seen, but not many other campers. The grounds are very well-lit. We don't have blackout shades so it was bright inside (and out 😉) all night. Our ATT cell service was also excellent.

Just passing through, returning to Washington from Arizona. Conveniently located to take 97 northbound. Office and restrooms were closed because of Covid but easy to make online reservations and our check in envelope taped to office door so easy enough. Laundry room open, honor system for paying $2 wash $2 dry. Very nice Grocery Outlet walkable and almost right next door. Excellent Verizon signal with external antenna, easily streamed tv. Slightly noisy because of Pilot truck stop nearby. Not the most scenic but it smelled of pines and beautiful Mt. Shasta visible. Would definitely stay again as an overnighter.

Landscaping and ground are well maintained, staff is friendly, wifi works greats, laundry and dog runs are clean and ample. Located directly behind a Flying J, so constant truck noise is a downer, but easy on/off access to I5 is a fair trade.
