Located on Route 1 in Wells, Maine, Sea-Vu Campground is a great homebase to explore all of Southern Maine's many sandy beaches, seacoast activities, and other area attractions. Just minutes from several Southern Maine beaches, including Wells Beach, Drakes Island Beach, Crescent Beach and beaches in Moody, Kennebunk and Ogunquit, Sea-Vu Campground overlooks the Atlantic ocean and is only 5 miles from the towns of Kennebunkport and Ogunquit. We are less than 2 miles from the Maine Turnpike. Family camping at its best since 1972! In 2012, Sea-Vu Campground celebrates its 40th Anniversary of fun and family camping! We have a great season planned for this coming year, and we hope that you will join us.

Confirmed by 1 users | Last reported on August 30, 2019We stayed here two days in a site with a view of the marsh and the ocean in the background. A very nice location.
I would have given the park more stars if not for the following:
1. The restrooms and showers are dated and have small stalls. There is no ADA compliant toilet. The laundry has poor dryers.
2. The wifi is almost impossible to use although it shows a strong signal with internet availability.
3. The cable TV is extremely odd. Some channels had a dash after the number like an over the air channel would have and are pixelated. Many of the channels are fuzzy.

Disappointing. Mostly seasonal residents in cottage style RVs. To say the campground has a view of the water is a stretch. There is no direct access and the marsh is way out in the distance. Overall, the campground is nothing special and pricey. Better options elsewhere.

I’m torn about this review. We booked a week here because we have family with a seasonal site and park model.
The owner and staff are extremely friendly and accommodating. The vibe within the campground is family and pet friendly. The campground store is well supplied and friendly.
We visited during the peak of the tourist season, in July 2023. I can’t say there was anything particularly “wrong” with this campground, except that the advertising, location and the site quality didn’t match the $100/night price tag. My review is weighted to account for the price price. The campground is NOT near the water, although the lower half of the property does have a nice view of the water. Access to one of the local beaches or inlets is only via a two mile drive on busy local roads and then parking at one of the paid municipal parking areas.
Site quality: All sites appeared to be well maintained and functional. Most sites were completely level. Our site required backing in around a corner. Residents of neighboring sites had to move their vehicles to give us room to back in. Every site in the campground appears to be on grass or on dirt. Consequently the place became very muddy during the rains.
For the above reasons, we would not stay here again. But we understand why the site is appealing to those that return year after year.
