“A relaxing place for you and your family”
Tree Haven is a clean, quiet, family campground located in Westerville, Ohio just northeast of Columbus. Located away from busy highways and set back in the woods, its the ideal place for you to come spend time with friends and family and get in some good ole' rest and relaxation. Columbus is home to the Columbus Clippers AAA baseball team, Columbus Blue Jackets hockey, COSI science center, The Ohio State Fair and expo center with many events throughout the year. It is also home to the Columbus Zoo & Aquarium, named #1 zoo in America by USA Travel Guide. And of course, The Ohio State University, home of the Buckeyes! These are just to name a few. Columbus and the surrounding area are home to many other exciting destinations. Even though we are secluded, we are still centrally located, within 20 minutes (or even closer) of many restaurants, shopping, fuel, and anything else you may need. Tree Haven Campground was established by Don Paul back in 1973. He had decided to build a campground in the woods that he played in as a boy. We have definitely grown since '73, but one thing has remained unchanged. Tree Haven is a clean campground that caters to family camping, and we intend to keep it that way. Come stay with us and see for yourself. Open May 1st - November 1st!

Confirmed by 2 users | Last reported on July 17, 2022Park location is a little difficult to find but is worth the trip. Lots of trees and shade and very friendly staff. We were in a section for overnight visitors which had some shade and pull through sites. Hookups were also there (gay water, black to dump station) and nice lawn around us for our dog. This one is a hidden gem!

Went there late in the season. No amenities like the swimming pool was open. The camp store had nothing available and no firewood available. Luckily we brought our own wood.
Currently adding a pickle ball court which should be ready by next season for sure.
If you like a quiet place with LOTS of shade this is place for you. Summertime camping here would be perfect.
Only one trail for hiking.

This campground has the best wifi of all campgrounds we have been to. (40). The host is very helpful. The only down side is there no full hookup.

This campground has improvements that are ongoing and planned. The small pool (residential size) is planned to be replaced with a larger community size probably by 2023. The showers could use an upgrade like the restrooms (not together). The managers are real nice and helpful. There are staff & work-campers that do a good job. They have a 'honey bucket' service that comes around to sites that do not have full sewer. The drives around the camp are maintained and good gravel and so are the sites. The driveway from the county road is rough even with potholes being filled and it is narrow for passing. This CG has an arm gate with code, also has video monitoring. There are seasonal campers and several 'local' campers but not too trashy. Their is a hiking trail which could use some maintenance. The little glen by the creek is relaxing. Provisioning is close in New Albany or Johnstown. Tractor Supply & Kroger in Johnstown, Ace Hardware & Meijer's, Target, Home Depot in New Albany. For Walmart, Lowe's is in Westerville and of course large mall shopping in Columbus. Don't miss the world famous Columbus Zoo & Wilds Safari.
