It is an ideal base for a number of popular tourist attractions. The area provides a convenience store, post office, doctor's surgery, chemist, cafe, take away outlets and tavern all within a few minutes drive from the studio. There are also a number of very good restaurants within a short drive. The area is renowned for its safe swimming and nearby popular surfing beaches. The Tangara Trail winds through the Acton Corridor and offers some excellent walking opportunities. The walking track that leads from Roches Beach and follows the foreshore ending at Seven Mile Beach is a must. The property is also close to the Tasmanian Equestrian Centre, the Royal Hobart Golf Course and a number of other popular golf courses. The Coal River wine region is nearby and offers a first class selection of Tasmanian wines and the finest of dining. Own transport is required.
