This park has two areas: The larger loop has no hookups at all and limited RV-size spaces, but you can run a generator during non-quiet hours so it's an option if that works for you. The second loop (RV loop) is a mix of full hookup sites (back-in and pull-through) that can handle bigger rigs and also offers cabins and tent sites. There are three camp hosts, two in the larger loop and one in the smaller loop. Sites are not tightly packed but not spacious either, so you will hear your neighbors. The smaller loop, especially the inner loop sites, are cheek by jowl with each other; my neighbor's picnic table was 4 feet from my window.
The park is close enough to Seattle that most people in the RV loop do not leave anything valuable out during the day if they are going to be away. When I asked a friend who lived nearby, she nodded and agreed that was probably a safe policy for that park. So be prepared to stow your grill or chain it to your RV, along with chairs, bikes, etc. every time you head out.
The beach is across the highway from the campground, and you can either drive to it or take a nice little 10 minute hike through the wooded trail to get there. At high tide it is one tiny beach; at low tide, it's amazingly big. Again, because it's close to Seattle, expect lots of people on summer weekends and on really hot days.
The best part of Dash Point was something I didn't figure out till halfway through my stay: trails not just to the beach but around the big trees and ferns and forest. I went for an hour's walk and barely hit the park boundary on one side. And the trails are beautifully maintained, with polite bikers who give much notice of their overtaking you and runners who do the same.
The park is somewhat close to SeaTac airport, so depending on the winds, planes will go overhead, but they are not loud enough to interrupt conversation.

We stayed here to be close when visiting my brother in Tacoma. So we were spending time with family and didn't spend much time on the beach or using the trails...maybe I would have felt it was worth more of the price if we used those.
Some of the turns in the loop were pretty tight for our truck and 35ft 5th wheel. We had a pull through space which was awkward to get into the way it was designed, but once in it was one of the more private spaces.

Camped here for two nights at the end of summer while I visited Seattle. Due to proximity to city, some questionable activity was observed. Day 1, someone arrived late onto site next to ours without a reservation. Park ranger showed up early to kick them out. Turns out to be someone living out of their car. Day 2, a guy arrived after 2 AM to the site next to ours (again) and was banging on stuff all night, lit an illegal fire (fire ban in effect), and eventually got kicked out by the ranger next morning. Guy appeared to be on drugs. Even though a lot of sketchy stuff is going on, it appears the rangers are doing what they can to keep it under control.
Other than that, clean bathrooms, great PNW scenery with the usual creeks, forests, etc. Close to Seattle.

Like many other campers, we stayed at Dash Point due to its proximity to Seattle. I was a little bit spooked because it was obvious that some people were living in the park, not just camping. However, we had no issues with anyone.
We arrived Christmas eve in the snow, which was pretty amazing since it meant we woke up to a white Christmas. We left early Christmas morning since this visit to the park was just intended as a quick stop over.
We found the bathrooms clean and the sites flat. The Verizon coverage varied widely within the park. We had only 1X 1 bar coverage in site 19. We had noticed quite a few of the people who appeared to be living in the park were near the entrance. This may be because the cell coverage what much better in this area.
The park was generally quiet with occasional airplane traffic noise overhead. We slept well and woke to a white Christmas.
My most memorable experience was Big Foot Java, which is located not too far from the park entrance, was not only open Christmas morning, but served an amazing Americano to start the day.

We stayed here in the middle of May of 2018 on our way to Sol Duc Hot Springs. First of all, we arrived 4 hours after the check in time to find our reserved spot occupied with an Airstream and the owner of it not at the site. We drove our truck and trailer back to the camp host location to ask why it was still occupied. He said he didn't know and to go find another spot that we liked. I pulled into spot #36, it was a pull through spot with a huge stump. The photo I posted was someone's else's busted light that hit it. Careful of that! My husband and I started to set up and the park ranger stopped by to tell us she had talked to the guy that had the Airstream. He somehow busted his awning to where it flung straight up in the air and was hanging on the roof! Okay, but it was quite evident he had no intention of leaving that spot since he hadn't packed any of his belongings up when we arrived at 5:00pm. Our name and site # was on the reserved list in the front, he should have saw that and the ranger should have be making sure all spots are vacated at the check out time.
After we finished setting up, we noticed our fire pit was full of garbage. Right about that time we noticed jet engines above, one airplane after another started landing and taking off close by. It was noisy. We decided to go on a walk around the grounds. Several spots had fire pits full of garbage and more garbage laying around the campsites. This is the first Campground we've been at where the spots were not cleaned after the people departed.
As we walked around we found a trail the led us to the beach. It was a gorgeous hike and the area on the way there was beautiful! This helped make up from some of the stuff so far. Loved the lush greenery on the trail and the stream. Didn't care to see that someone had tagged the walkway staircase with spray paint, that took away from scenery. We made it to the beach, it was small and very pretty! We took some photos and then we hiked back on the trail to the campground. We got back to our spot and someone two spots away from our campsite had a big diesel truck running. It was a tow truck loading someone's truck that had broke down when they arrived. That truck ran for an hour! We tried to relax by our campfire for about an hour, but the planes were too loud and it was all getting annoying. Finally went inside and went to bed. Still heard the planes inside our travel trailer. Around midnight there was a few here and there, but few enough to get some sleep. Then around 4:00am, four vehicles started up and idilled at different campsites for about. 10 minutes and then left. Relaxing at this place was non existent for us. Too much noise for a Campsite. Thankfully this was a one night stay for us on our way to our next campsite. I don't think we will return to this one.

Really enjoyed our stay here with plenty of walking and biking trails on our doorstep. Despite the other reviews, we haven’t had any issues with the other guests at all. Plenty of privacy with each spot and a nice walk down to Puget Sound. Only downside is that it’s a bit far from Seattle (almost an hour) but if that doesn’t bother you then it’s great! Also not too far from airport.

We stayed 2 nights at the same site, there are 4 or more host but when they see you walking up 2 of them run in there rv and the others are hardly there. All the sites are close together and pricey for not have electricity we payed 30 for just a site. The bathrooms are some what clean when the people that stay don’t smoke in them. And they have sinks but we seen people bathing there kids in them, so we did our dishes at our camp. The last night we were there the ranger was rude and angry acting like we didn’t pay and when we showed him our recipient he still wasn’t nice. If you do go be warned they are not that nice and not quiet

Definitely the weirdest campground in last few years. Lot of noise. Trailer next to us leaves yapping dog out 23 hrs a day. At 6:58 this morning a train whistle blowing camp leader led 50 campers into middle of the campground for jumping jacks. One site had at least 14 kids. And “quiet time” seems to begin around 11pm or whenever the last camper shuts up. Pretty much like 1/2 the CG is normal campers, 1/4 never come out of camper, 1/8 live in tents possible here for years, and 1/8 camp but have little concern for noise. Not well maintained and rarely anyone at the gate but finding full hook ups is not easy around here. Full fire ban removed most of the fun so try to come when able to cook out at least. Saltwater CG looked like better location if spending time in Seattle. Spots are a little tight to position trailer, lots of trees.

We arrived to our camp site at a normal check in time of 2:30. The camp host was “off duty” that day so our camp site was completely trashed. The fire was full of aluminum cans, banana peels, car mats and PISS.
The homeless couple, who I am assuming must lived in that park were at our site before us. The man pissed all in the fire so when we lit up the fire all we could smell is human piss. Real pleasant when you’re trying to cook food. Never again. Don’t bother.

Due to the size of our rig and pricing, we decided not to stay, but it did look quite nice. A lot of sites among big trees and brush, with a decent amount of space between them. Plenty of bad reviews about this park, but the appearance and feel driving through, did not reflect what others have stated.
