Thanks to roadtrippers for finding this MUST see drop by -- any history or military buff will love this WWI monument and museum. Incredible views from the tower and the museum is updated and educational! The workers there are wonderful volunteers. Plan at least 2 hours to still see it all quickly. More time to take your time. Highly recommend!

Very well done museum. So much more than what I expected. Multiple floors & buildings/exhibits, well staffed, film that stretches across a giant wall that takes you between pre & post American involvement. Just really well-thought out. 2 hours+

Thought it was awesome! The view from the top alone was well worth the ticket to the museum. It was just a stop over for us (a touristy road trip picture) but we bought a ticket so we could see the view from the top and decided to take a look around. The volunteers were friendly and spoke to us about the exhibits. It side tracked us but was well worth it.

We went in the evening, after my husband got off work, so unfortunately the museum was closed. It's still in a beautiful setting and has some of the best views of Kansas City. The architecture is very aesthetically pleasing. There is ample handicap parking if needed. Several people had dogs, others were jogging, and some were just walking.

We didn't go in, the subject matter is too intense for the kiddos. However the grounds are just beautiful and worth the stop alone.

Such a great place to stretch your legs and take in the memorial of our soldiers and patriots. An amazing view of the Kansas City skyline!
