“enjoy a humble and historic experience”
The Sage Museum was a classic auto and wagon collection located in the historic city of Shaniko in southern Wasco County, once the world's largest inland wool shipping center. Shaniko itself has many historic buildings, including a restored hotel, city hall and jail, and schoolhouse. The Sage Museum is now closed. You can still explore old Shaniko, Oregon's best ghost town!
Has been closed for years. The cars are rotting away in a dirty barn and are covered with pigeon droppings. You can peer into a window and see the vehicles
The barn is supposed to be open daily for people to walk through to see cars unless owner is unable to come open that particular day. A nice man from town said if we came back the next day he would go get key and open for us, but we weren't able to return.
