The “Murder House” from American Horror Story is for sale. It comes with a storied past and some paranormal baggage. We’ve reached out, but the realtor won’t confirm or deny that the house’s original architect studied under Ivo Shandor, architect of New York’s 55 Central Park West and leader of the Cult of Gozer.

For a cool $14,999,000, L.A.’s “Murder House” is on the market. Don’t worry, it isn’t believed to be a “a huge antenna for pulling in and concentrating psychokinetic energy.” Nor is it thought to be the headquarters for a secret society of Gozer worshipers hellbent on bringing about the end of the world.

The house is actually a super popular filming location, beginning way back with Charlie Chaplin’s silent movies and then the inevitable talkies. Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Dexter, Six Feet Under, The Twilight Zone, The X-Files, Angel, and loads more TV shows filmed episodes at this iconic location. It’s also a photographer’s paradise, used by Helmut Newton, Herb Ritts, Annie Leibovitz, Diane Arbus, David LaChapelle, Mario Testino and Terry Richardson, among many others.

The property even boasts a recording studio with room for over 250 guests.
