If you're anything like us, you're always dreaming about your next trip, regardless of how far away it might feel. Now, a new website aims to dull the pain of waiting, just a little, by randomly transporting you across the world from the comfort of your own computer.
Artist Jim Andrews named his project Teleporter and, appropriately enough, the landing page drops you off at the Tardis in London. When you hit the teleport button, the screen magically whisks you away to another place on the planet - beaches, parking lots, snowy ski lodges, even Antarctic research stations.
If you're feeling a little cooped up, head to the website and give Teleporter a spin. Fair warning: it's weirdly addicting, so just don't let your boss catch you.
